FORT SMITH, Ark. — Two arrests have now been made in connection to a robbery at the Valero on Grand Avenue in Fort Smith, according to police.
In a statement released on Friday, the Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD) said the robbery happened at 6:30 a.m. on July 5.
Now, police say that two suspects have been arrested with assistance with the Paris Police Department (PPD).
FSPD says that one juvenile suspect and 18-year-old Talyn Thomas were identified by FSPD in connection to the gas station robbery and by PPD in connection to a vehicle robbery.
Thomas and the juvenile will be extradited to Fort Smith and face aggravated robbery charges, according to FSPD.
