Bentonville shooting leads to the arrest of two teens, police say

Police said they found three bullet holes in the front of the home, but no injuries were reported.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — According to the Bentonville Police Department (BPD), authorities were dispatched to a home on SE 16th Street when a witness reported a man knocking on their door just after midnight on Jan. 8.

BPD said that officers initially couldn't find the man, but around 40 minutes later they returned to the scene after reports that somebody had shot a gun into the home several times. After returning, police said they located three bullet holes in the front of the home, but no injuries were reported.

On the afternoon of Jan. 8, an eighteen-year-old and a sixteen-year-old were arrested in Springdale and charged with shooting at the home.
