FARMINGTON, Arkansas — A Farmington teen defied the odds when he achieved a score of 36 on his ACT test, all while keeping up with his responsibilities on the football field.
When Taylor Conran aced the ACT, comprised of English, reading, science, and math tests, his teachers were elated but showed no sign of surprise.
"He is a shining example of hard work and dedication to academics," said Farmington High School Principal Jon Purifoy. "We are so proud of Taylor and his accomplishment,"
According to the Farmington High School website, Taylor is a returning all-conference football player for the Cardinals.
The school and community want to give Taylor, and his parents Lori and Matt Conran, a big congratulations for an achievement years in the making.
