FORT SMITH, Ark. — One person is dead after a single vehicle crash in Sebastian County.
According to a crash report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the crash occurred on July 21 at 12:54 a.m. in Fort Smith.
The report says that 19-year-old Luis Morales-Leiva was driving west on Rogers Avenue "at a high rate of speed" when he lost control and collided with a large sign.
Morales-Leiva was in critical condition and life flighted to Baptist Health in Little Rock, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
