Two coworkers are suing each other over a scratch-off ticket worth $500,000.

The ticket was purchased on Feb. 2, 2023, at the Quick Mart on Hwy 62 in Rogers.

Jose Quinteros filed a lawsuit against Jorge Rivera Palma and Marco Corado Erazo, saying they split the cost of several lottery tickets, winning first $80, then using that to buy more tickets, one of which was worth $500k.

Quinteros says Palma and Erazo claimed the winnings without him in Little Rock.

The lawsuit accuses Palma of having Erazo claim the winnings, receiving a check for $355,500, but not sharing the winnings with Quinteros.

The attorney for Erazo has filed a counterclaim against Quinteros, alleging malicious prosecution.

Records show a bench trial is scheduled before Benton County Circuit Judge Doug Schrantz on Dec. 4, 2023, at 9 a.m.
