Heavner man dies after crash in LeFlore County, OHP says

LE FLORE COUNTY, Okla. — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in LeFlore County that took place in the early morning of Friday, July 26, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

The crash report states that this took place at around 12:22 a.m. at the intersection of OK-112 and Old Highway 112. This is approximately half a mile north of Cameron.

The crash was between a 2009 Kawasaki VN900 motorcycle and a 2005 Chevy pickup, according to OHP. The driver of the Chevy did not suffer any injuries, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorcyclist was identified as 21-year-old Hunter Fortner of Heavner.
