SPRINGDALE, Ark. — A Fayetteville man was killed in a single vehicle crash on Aug. 2 in Washington County.
According to a report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety (DPS), a vehicle was traveling north on I-49 near the Don Tyson Parkway exit in Springdale when it left the roadway to the right and collided with an overpass support.
The report says that the vehicle began to rotate after the collision before coming to rest on its top. The driver, 24-year-old Brock Pounders, was killed in the crash.
The crash occurred at around 9:28 a.m. on Friday. Conditions at the time of the crash were cloudy and dry, according to the report.
