GRAVETTE, Ark. — A Clarksville woman has died after a crash in Gravette on June 26, according to an Arkansas Department of Public Safety crash report.
The report says 28-year-old Chelsea Travis was traveling northbound on Highway 59 on Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. At the same time, a Nissan was traveling southbound.
According to the report, when the two vehicles approached a curve, Travis "swerved across the centerline into the southbound lane, striking [the Nissan]" near Bright Valley Road.
Those involved in the crash were taken to nearby hospitals. The three people in the Nissan were reportedly injured, while Travis later died from her injuries.
