BENTONVILLE, Ark. — In recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Arkansas Urology is offering free screenings in Bentonville. This is also part of its 20th annual Kickoff to Men's Health Month, which provides free services for men's health throughout September.

The free screening will be on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Arkansas Urology located at 400 SE Macy Road Suite #18.

"Prostate cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer, accounting for around 15% of all diagnosed cancer cases in male patients," said Arkansas Urology. The American Cancer Society estimates 35,250 deaths from prostate cancer in 2024.

Arkansas Urology said this event offers "male participants the opportunity to receive a potentially life-saving prostate cancer screening."

The screening will include a blood test for prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and a combination PSA digital rectal prostate exam.
