Several Arkansas counties under boil order, ADH says

The Arkansas Department of Health has issued boil orders for several counties across the state.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The extreme winter weather that hit Arkansas during the last week has caused issues with pipes across the state. 

As the pipes have begun to thaw out, some people have found out that their pipes have burst, or even that their water pumps are broken. 

Due to these issues, the Arkansas Department of Health has issued boil orders for the following counties:

  • Baxter
  • Howard
  • Hot Spring
  • Craighead
  • Cross
  • Scott
  • Bradley
  • Johnson
  • Howard
  • Phillips
  • Cleburne
  • Calhoun
  • Miller
