LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The 84th annual Arkansas State Fair attracted 44,498 people on Friday, its largest opening day attendance in the past 10 years.
With over 40 rides and seven new food vendors, General Manager Tiffany Wilkerson said there was pent-up excitement for the state's most extensive entertainment event.
"Great weather and pent-up excitement from fairgoers led to a great day at the Fair," Wilkerson said.
Dru Hill and Ginuwine will perform at Saturday's concert on the Bank OZK stage inside Barton Coliseum in Little Rock. Hill is known for bringing a dynamic sound to the ever-changing R&B music industry with hits like "Tell Me" and "How Deep Is Your Love."
Ginuwine has released several multi-platinum and platinum-selling albums and singles and became one of R&B’s top artists with his first single, the 1996 hit " Pony.”
