ARKANSAS, USA — In an effort to increase accessibility for all visitors, Arkansas State Parks has introduced an all-terrain motorized wheelchair for those with mobility challenges.

The first model, the Action Trackchair, was introduced at Logoly State Park. It is designed for trails and rugged surfaces that a standard wheelchair would not endure.

"This initiative, in partnership with Accessibility Across Arkansas, Inc., marks a significant step toward inclusivity, allowing individuals with mobility challenges to fully enjoy the natural beauty and trails of our parks," said Arkansas State Parks.

At the moment, that is the only Trackchair available, but officials said two more will soon be available. One will be at a state park in Central Arkansas and the other in Northwest Arkansas.

The Trackchair is free, but reservations must be made. To learn more, click here.
