Benton County Sheriff's Office collecting items to deliver to seniors in need

The items collected will be delivered to the homes of home-bound seniors in the area.

SALT Council, Benton County Sheriff's Ofice and the Meadows in Bentonville pack over 75 necessity bags for homebound seniors in the community.

BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — The Benton County Sheriff's Office and SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) are hosting a Christmas in July Necessities Drive in Bentonville to collect items for seniors in need.

The event will be held at the Walmart Supercenter on Walton Blvd on July 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Items needed:

  • Lotion
  • Toilet paper
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Toothpaste
  • Kleenex
  • Paper towels
  • Body wash
  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Gloves
  • Slippers
  • Socks
  • Hats
  • Blankets 
  • Scarves

The items collected will be delivered to the homes of home-bound seniors in the area.
