The Arkansas Department of Health warns that the water "may be unsafe for human consumption."

MULBERRY, Ark. — A boil order has been issued for Mulberry Waterworks, according to the the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH).

The boil order went into effect Feb. 26, "as a precautionary measure" to possibly contaminated water after a main break, ADH said.

Officials advise customers to :

- Boil water for at least one minute before drinking or using on food.

- Throw away ice cubes and only make ice use using boiled water.

ADH said once bacteriological tests results show that the water is free of bacteria, the boil order will be lifted.
