How local Rogers businesses recover after being destroyed by severe storms

Owners Nick and Samantha Daniels of All Things Kindred, a botanical and bridal floral shop, lost just about everything.

ROGERS, Ark. — As Northwest Arkansas continues to pick up the pieces after multiple tornadoes blew through the area on May 26, some local businesses are still reeling, sifting through the debris to see what they can salvage.

While improvements have been made across the region in regard to damage clean up, there is still significant damage left.

The owners of one local business that was completely demolished are still helping others as they keep working through their own grief.

Owners Nick and Samantha Daniels of All Things Kindred, a botanical and bridal floral shop, lost just about everything.

Nick was in Indianapolis when the storm hit, away from Samantha and their daughter during the experience. He rushed back to Rogers after he got the call from his wife saying that their shop was destroyed.

Since then, the family has tried to salvage anything they can while still doing what they can for others' special day.

"We still have to do flowers. We are actually doing flowers at four weddings this weekend, and we don't have a room to do a cooler," Nick explained.

Still helpings others through such a difficult time, Nick said that the neighboring community and friends has helped them tremendously during this time.

He says that he is in the process of speaking with the building owners and insurance to see if they will rebuild or tear it down.
