CARROLL COUNTY, Arkansas — A former Carroll County deputy has been arrested on felony charges, the Arkansas State Police announced on Friday.

According to ASP's statement on the arrest, their criminal division was contacted by Carroll County Prosecutor Tony Rogers in March 2022 and requested they investigate 53-year-old CCSO Deputy Blake Ringberg.

While ASP investigated, Ringberg resigned from the sheriff's office. ASP said he's "no longer employed as a law enforcement officer in the State of Arkansas."

Ringberg is facing felony charges of forgery, theft of property, and tampering with a public record.

ASP served Ringberg's arrest warrant on Thursday, Dec. 14, and he was taken into custody and transferred to the Carroll County Detention Center.
