SPRINGDALE, Ark. — The Springdale Public Library has opened a new Library of Things collection for the community.

The collection is designed to offer items to people of all ages in the community that may "otherwise be inaccessible" to some. 

The added items are "new and emerging technologies" that the library says are an effort "to offer the physical tools needed to support lifelong learning and creativity and provide new ways for children and adults to interact and explore."

New items: 

  • Blu-ray/DVD Player
  • Birding Kit
  • Content Creation Kit
  • Fishing Poles
  • Pickleball Set
  • Screwdriver Set
  • Wi-Fi Hotspots
  • American Girl Doll Backpacks
  • TonieBox Backpacks
  • STEAM Backpacks
  • Storytime Backpacks
