CLARKSVILLE, Ark. — The Clarksville Police Department gave one of its officers a shoutout for going above and beyond in the community.
Officer Devin Brown was observed by a bystander helping out a boy on a hot day.
"Giving props where it's due!" the Facebook post read.
The officer was seen helping a boy fix his scooter and giving him a bottled water out of his vehicle when he saw the boy's face was red from the heat.
"Good job, Officer Devin Brown! He helped him fix the scooter and then gave him a ride to where he was going so he could cool down," said Clarksville PD.
"It's things like this that make a big difference in a small community!" said the bystander.
