Man dies in Carroll County crash

The crash took place at around 3:30 p.m.

CARROLL COUNTY, Ark. — A man is dead after a crash that took place in Carroll County on Jan. 10, at around 3:30 p.m., according to a fatal crash report by Arkansas State Police (ASP). 

According to the report, the man is identified as 55-year-old Darin Lee Workman of Eureka Springs. 

Workman was a passenger in a 1994 Oldsmobile southbound on State Highway 23, the report states. The driver was "negotiating a left-hand curve" when they lost control of the vehicle and went 50 feet off the roadway and overturned, ASP said. 

The driver was injured and transported to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
