FARMINGTON, Ark. — Police determined a threat made against students at a secondary campus of the Farmington School District was credible, according to the district.
"We were made aware of the message and reported it to the police, who determined it to be a credible threat," the school district said on Oct. 16.
The district said the Farmington Police Department arrested the person, who is not a student.
Out of precaution, there will be a larger police presence on Farmington's campuses on Oct. 17.
The district said this threat has caused rumors about additional threats, which have been investigated and determined as unsubstantiated.
