DECATUR, Ark. — Students at Decatur High School are processing after a senior passed away on the evening of March 11, according to Superintendent Steve Watkins.
In a post on the Decatur Bulldogs athletic page, the sporting events planned for March 12 have been canceled, to be rescheduled later.
"We are trying to keep things as close to normal as possible. We do have counseling available to any of our students and staff that want to use that option. Out of respect for the student and family we have cancelled our athletic events tonight. The high school is planning on wearing blue in honor of our student," Watkins said in a statement on March 12.
