DECATUR, Arkansas — According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), one person is dead after a shooting in Decatur.
Shannon Jenkins with BCSO confirmed with 5NEWS that they were called to investigate the deadly shooting and called it an isolated situation.
"Like any death investigation, we will investigate and will not be able to share further information as it is an open case," Jenkins said.
Although 5NEWS has received reports of a Decatur student’s death, BCSO has not confirmed to us whether this shooting is related. We will update this article as more information becomes available.
