Disaster Loan Outreach Center opens in Decatur

The interest rate and loan payments do not start until a year after the loan is provided, SBA said.

DECATUR, Ark. — The Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that a disaster loan outreach center will open in Decatur from Aug. 20 to Aug. 22.

The center will serve businesses and residents impacted by the Memorial Day Weekend tornadoes. SBA representatives will be on-site, and appointments will not be required. 

The center can be found in the City Hall's Community Room Building during the following business hours:

- Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

- Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

- Thursday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

According to SBA, the interest rate and loan payments do not start until a year after the loan is provided. The application deadline is Aug. 28. For more information, click here.
