FPD: Driver crashed into Fayetteville business, minor injuries sustained

​The driver thought the vehicle was in reverse when it was in drive.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A driver crashed into the front doors of a business at 100 E. Joyce Blvd. #107 around 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23. 

The Fayetteville Police Department (FPD) posted on Facebook that nine people sustained injuries at Orangetheory Fitness in Fayetteville. Eight of those injured were "transported to a local medical facility to be treated for minor lacerations caused by flying debris." 

The driver thought the vehicle was in reverse when it was in drive, police say. No arrests have been made. 

Orangetheory announced on Instagram that they will be temporarily closed until Sunday, Nov. 26, following the incident. They said no members or staff experienced life-threatening injuries.
