WAR EAGLE, Ark — Both offering crafty creations and country charm, Sharps' Show and the War Eagle Fair are returning to Northwest Arkansas for another fun fall fair festival, (say that five times fast).
War Eagle Fair
The 69th annual War Eagle Fair is set to be held from Thursday, Oct. 19, until Sunday, Oct. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Sunday, when it'll close an hour earlier.
Upwards of 200,000 visitors are expected throughout the week, with 200 different vendors to purchase hand-made crafts from.
According to the fair's website, admission is free, but parking is $5 a vehicle, and the address you'll want to punch into your GPS is 11037 High Sky Inn Road, Hindsville, AR 72738.
The fair also notes that although many exhibitors accept cards for their crafts, some may not. Do not fear, however, as ATMs are said to be on-site.
This year, visitors will be able to leave purchases "of all sizes" at a package check stand, so fairgoers can walk about without having to carry their crafted goods all day.
Sharps' Show
Offering a "wide array of handmade crafts from skilled artisans" who call the area home, Sharps promises another year of creative country fun for those with a taste for the inventive parts of life.
Opening to visitors at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, fairgoers can park at a large field next to the booths for $5, or in a small field closer to all fairs for $10, with part of the parking proceeds going to support the Huntsville FFA students, according to Sharps' Facebook page.
The show is set to last until Sunday, and visitors are directed to 11022 War Eagle Rd Rogers, AR 72756.
