BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The City of Bentonville will begin its annual fall leaf curbside pickup on Monday, Dec. 9, according to a press release.
To have bagged leaves picked up, residents must call 479-254-2059 or email fallleafcollection@bentonvillear.com. After requests are submitted, it can take up to 48 hours for bags to be picked up.
The pickup will run through Friday, Dec. 20. The City said all bagged leaves must be securely closed and placed on the curb or edge of the street. Residents should avoid putting the bags in ditches or anywhere else that can affect drainage or create a safety hazard.
Rules
- Do not call or email unless the bagged leaves are at the curb and ready to be picked up.
- Only leaves must be bagged. Limbs, grass, and trash will not be accepted.
- The pickup is only for single-family homes and duplexes.
- The City will not enter private property to collect bags.
- Do not submit a request twice.
The city said that those who do not request a pickup via phone or email will not have their bagged leaves picked up and are responsible for disposing of them on their own. Leaves can be disposed of at the City's Compost Facility at 2000 NW A Street Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
