FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Fayetteville Police Department (FPD) is notifying the public about an alternate emergency services phone number amid a cell service outage impacting customers across the U.S.

FPD asks that residents contact (479) 575-0258 if they cannot reach emergency services over 911.

Tens of thousands of cell service customers were left unable to make phone calls or send texts after a massive reported outage across the U.S.
