Fire reported amid burn ban in LeFlore County

According to the Oklahoma Forestry Services, the fire burned around 214 acres in LeFlore County.

PAGE, Oklahoma — LeFlore County was officially placed under a burn ban on Oct. 28, according to the Oklahoma Forestry Services. County commissioners agreed the ban would be in effect for the next seven days. 

On the same day the ban was announced, the LeFlore County Sheriff's Office reported that several fire departments in the area had been battling a fire in the Page community. The department did not provide any additional information about the fire. 

According to the Oklahoma Forestry Services, the fire burned around 214 acres. As of Wednesday morning, the fire is 80% contained.
