ROGERS, Ark. — If you can build it into your schedule, there's a new store on the block.

The Denmark-based LEGO group is opening its first store in Arkansas on Friday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m., bringing its colorful and creative formula to Rogers.

The store will open at 2203 S Promenade Blvd, suite 8135, in Rogers at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade, and promises to live up to the LEGO spirit of "only the best is good enough."

According to the LEGO website, the company is dedicated to children's educational development and building the curiosity of tomorrow's builders through creative play and learning.

The store will feature a pick-and-build wall and mini figure-building activities, as well as a demonstration table. Visitors will also be able to return online orders at that location and place further orders.

The line wrapped around the building on its opening date as fans waited for the store to open on the sunny morning.
