How to enter ticket lottery for Hamilton shows at Walton Arts Center

A limited number of tickets priced at $10 will be available for each of the 12 performances.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Walton Arts Center announced a digital lottery for Hamilton tickets beginning Friday, Aug. 2.

The revolutionary American musical written by actor, filmmaker, singer, and songwriter Lin Manuel Miranda will have 12 shows between Aug. 16-25.

Producer Jeffrey Seller and Walton Arts Center announced on Friday that the digital lottery will begin in conjunction with the show’s first performance Friday, Aug. 16 at Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville. 

A limited number of tickets priced at $10 will be available for each of the 12 performances. 

The lottery will open at 10 am Friday, Aug. 2 and will close at noon Thursday, Aug. 8, the Walton Arts Center said in the announcement. A second digital lottery will open at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9 and close at noon on Thursday, Aug. 15 for tickets to performances in the following week.

How To Enter

Use the official app for Hamilton, now available for all iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Winner notifications will be sent via email and mobile push notification between 1 and 4 p.m. on Thursday for all performances at Walton Arts Center through Sunday, Aug. 25. 

Winners will have two hours to claim and pay for their ticket(s). 

  • No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or participate.
  • Each winning entrant may purchase up to two tickets. 
  • Only one entry per person. Repeat entries and disposable email addresses will be discarded.
  • Lottery tickets may be picked up at will call beginning one hour prior to the performance with a valid photo ID.
  • Lottery tickets void if resold.
  • All times listed are in the local time zone. 

Additional Rules

You must be 18 years or older and have a valid, non-expired photo ID that matches the name used to enter. Tickets are non-transferable. Ticket limits and prices displayed are at the sole discretion of the show and are subject to change without notice.

Lottery prices are not valid on prior purchases. Lottery ticket offer cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions. All sales final - no refunds or exchanges.

Hamilton has won almost a dozen Tony Awards, a Grammy, and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, among many others.

According to the Walton Arts Center, prices will range from $99 - $209. 

A lottery offering some seats for $10 will be held closer to the performance, with information about the lottery coming out later.

How to get tickets

Beginning on Thursday, June 13 at 10 a.m., you can purchase up to 8 tickets per account in one of three ways:

  • Purchase tickets online at the Walton Arts Center website
  • Calling the Walton Arts Center at (479) 443-5600 weekdays 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
  • Visiting the Walton Arts Center Box Office on weekdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

  • Saturday, Agu. 17 — 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, Aug. 18 — 2 p.m.

  • Thursday, Aug. 22 — 1:30 p.m. 
  • Thursday, Aug. 22 — 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Aug. 23 — 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 24 — 2 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 24 — 8 p.m.

Hamilton was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, directed by Thomas Kail, and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler with musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, the WAC states.
