FORT SMITH, Ark. — Jack's Skateland in Fort Smith is set to reopen after a recent storm flooded their location causing them to shut down.
On July 14, the skating rink announced via its Facebook page that Mill Creek "went over and flooded the rink" in the early morning hours during severe weather. Since then they have been closed and working on repairs.
After extensive repairs to the carpet and skating floor, the skating rink will reopen on Friday, Dec. 22 at 7 p.m., according to its website. They are located at 1413 Phoenix Avenue.
Hours of operation and prices
Friday - 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- $8 admission if you bring your own skates
- $10 admission and regular skate rental
- $14 admission with inline or speed rental
Saturday - 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Tiny Tot Session (for children under 10 years only)
- $6 admission includes:
- regular skates
- juice box
- snack
Skate mates available for rent.
Saturday - 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- $7 admission includes regular skate rental
- $11 admission includes inline or speed rental
Skate mates available for rent.
Saturday - 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

With the admission of a child, parents with their own skates can skate FREE.
First and last Mondays of the month - 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
