SPRINGDALE, Ark. — The Kansas City Royals will play for the first time at the Arvest Ballpark in Northwest Arkansas on March 25.
"We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the Kansas City Royals at Arvest Ballpark in 2024," Justin Cole, Naturals vice president and general manager, said. "The Royals have been tremendous partners over the years, and we could not be more excited to welcome our major league affiliate to Springdale in just over two months."
The Naturals announced tickets for the Kansas City Royals exhibition game in the spring are now available to purchase online.
Tickets to see the Naturals' major league affiliate in action range from $16 to $25. Different ticket prices include:
- Home plate premium ticket: $25
- Dugout premium ticket: $22
- 1B/3B reserved ticket: $16
- Werther’s Original Grass Berm/general admission: $16
The Naturals have been a minor league affiliate of the Royals since 2008 when they made the move from Wichita, Kansas, to Northwest Arkansas. The Wichita Wranglers had been the Royals' Double-A affiliate from 1995 to 2007.
Since the move, the Naturals have made the playoffs eight times.
“Northwest Arkansas has been such a great partner for 15 years, so we are happy to be able to play this exhibition game in front of their fans,” J.J. Picollo, Royals executive vice president and general manager, said. “We were disappointed that our game in 2021 was cancelled due to COVID, so we’re even more excited for Naturals fans to have a chance to see so many familiar faces who previously played in Springdale. This will be a great night for our organization.”
