LE FLORE COUNTY, Okla. — Two LeFlore County residents pleaded guilty to crimes related to sexual abuse of a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The residents were identified as 22-year-old Armondo Joseph Palma and 27-year-old Elaine Wilson, both of Howe, Oklahoma.
According to the release, Palma pleaded guilty to transportation of a minor. Wilson pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor and one count of possessing material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Officials said that in December 2023, Palma and Wilson transported an underage minor from Oklahoma to Missouri "with intent to engage in sexual activity." On Nov. 2023, Dec. 2023 and March 2024, officials said that Wilson "knowingly engaged in a sex act" with a child under 12 years old. Wilson is also accused of possessing "a visual depiction of a minor" under 12 years old "engaging in sexually explicit conduct."
Palma and Wilson are in the custody of the U.S. marshals and are awaiting their sentencing.
