LINCOLN, Ark. — Customers in the City of Lincoln were experiencing water issues after a main break earlier today.
According to a statement posted to the city's website and social media at noon on Feb. 28, crews were working to fix the issue.
"The City of Lincoln is in the process of fixing a very large water main break which has affected our water customers. Our staff is working very hard to fix the leak in a timely manner. We will keep you updated when the leak if fixed. We do apologize for the inconvenience," a statement from the city said.
The Lincoln Water Department says that the city didn't completely lose pressure, so they won't have to issue a boil order.
At 5 p.m. on Feb. 28, the city announced via Facebook that the issue was resolved.
"The Lincoln Water Dept has fixed the water main break. Water service should be back to normal after lines get back to full pressure. Thank you for your cooperation and patience on this matter," the post said.
