Little Flock mayor reports no fatalities in Monday's storms

While the National Weather Service has yet to confirm a tornado, he said the debris path begins around the intersection of Dixieland Road and Acorn Drive.

LITTLE FLOCK, Ark. — Radar indicated that a possible tornado passed through parts of Little Flock around 5 p.m. on Nov. 4. Little Flock Mayor Jeff Van Sickler confirmed there were no fatalities from Monday's severe storms.

There are, however, several homes in the area that are damaged.

While the National Weather Service has yet to confirm a tornado, Van Sickler said the debris path begins around the intersection of Dixieland Road and Acorn Drive and tracked northeast into North 13th Street. He said it seemed to move toward the eastern part of Little Flock Drive and eventually "spun out" in the Homewoods Drive area.

With the help of Little Flock police and fire and Street Division, Van Sickler said the roads are back open. He also said gas leaks are contained and power outages are nearly restored.

"The true extent of damage may not be fully known for a few more days, and we should have a clearer picture in the morning," Van Sickler said. "Please keep your fellow citizens in your thoughts and prayers."
