ARKANSAS, USA — Today is Election Day across the U.S.

Another highly-anticipated presidential election is inching closer and closer. Not only will Arkansans vote on our country’s next president, but there are also several statewide and local candidates and issues up for a vote this November. 

Updates

7:30 p.m. — Shortly after the polls closed at 7:30 p.m., CBS News reported that former President Donald Trump was projected to win in Arkansas for the third election in a row.

8 p.m. —  Arkansas Secretary of State's website began reporting numbers for the U.S. House of Representative races. 

8:40 p.m. — Rep. Bruce Westerman is projected to win Arkansas's 4th Congressional District seat, according to the Associated Press.

8:55 p.m. — Arkansas voters overwhelmingly approved Issue 1, according to 

9:40 p.m. — The Associated Press projects Rep. Steve Womack to win Arkansas's 3rd Congressional District seat over his Democratic and Libertarian opponents. 

10:30 p.m. — Arkansas Secretary of State John Thurston elected as state treasurer.
