SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Singer Lizzo said "thanks" to ICU and ER staff at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale today by delivering a catered lunch.

Here's what her rep Arielle Kennedy said: "My boss is so giving... Spent the last few days calling hundreds of hospitals around the US and coordinating meal delivery to those working so hard on the front lines fighting this virus. It's a small token of our appreciation for employees risking their lives in ERs and COVID units every day so that we can hopefully lower the curve! Please wear a mask or better yet stay home so maybe we can make these heroes' jobs a little bit easier." THANK YOU!

Lizzo is a Grammy award-winning singer and rapper who often incorporates themes of confidence and self-love into her music. In 2019, Time named Lizzo as "Entertainer of the Year" for her meteoric rise and contribution to music. After struggling with body issues at an early age, Lizzo became an advocate for body positivity and self-love.
