FORT SMITH, Ark. — Defense company Lockheed Martin is holding a recruitment event in Fort Smith next month.
The event comes ahead of the arrival of F-35 fighter jets to the 188th.
The event will be held at the Wyndham City Center on Rogers Avenue on April 16 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Lockheed says it will conduct interviews and make some same-day hiring decisions based on qualifications.
The company says it's looking for people qualified in F-35 aircraft maintenance, aircraft system IT, as well as quality and safety support.
