Lowell Police Department welcomes new K9 Officer

K9 Officer Duke and Officer Cody Cox will be going through a 12-week training course together to prepare for the night shift.

LOWELL, Ark. — On Tuesday, Dec. 28, the Lowell Police Department (LPD) welcomed its newest officer. 

K9 Officer Duke is assigned to Officer Cody Cox and the pair will go through a 12-week training course together to prepare for police work. 

Once the training course is completed, the officers will be assigned to a night shift.
