FARMINGTON, Ark. — The Lowe's Hometowns Community Impact Program has selected the Farmington United Methodist Church Food Pantry as one of its 2024 grantees.
Lowe's provides grants to support communities in need across the U.S., including community centers, affordable housing services, veteran facilities, first responder communities and more.
According to the release, Lowe's will grant the church $80,000 to renovate the kitchen facilities at the food pantry.
"The Food Pantry at Farmington United Methodist Church serves a growing community with an ever-increasing 'food-at-risk' population. Through Lowe's Hometowns the kitchen facilities will be renovated in order to increase their ability to serve residents in the community," the website said.
