Boil order lifted in Madison County

The county says that the order was a precautionary measure.

MADISON COUNTY, Ark. — Madison County issued a boil order for some residents on May 28. 

A release from the county said that the order was for customers on Highway 127, or Rock Road, to Lookout Road, along with Highway 12 to Best Creek and to War Eagle Road. 

The order also included customers along country roads Cobble Lane and Kirk Hollow Road.

The county said that the order was a precautionary measure due to a power outage.

On June 5, officials announced that the boil order had been lifted.
