POTEAU, Okla. — A 63-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Poteau around 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 12, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) crash report.
The report said William McGuire was attempting to cross State Highway 112 from 290th Street in his white Chevrolet when a Peterbilt truck struck his vehicle.
McGuire died at the scene, while the driver of the Peterbilt was transported to a nearby hospital and treated for his injuries, OHP confirmed.
