HUNTINGTON, Arkansas — A minor is dead after a semi versus car crash in Sebastian County on July 20.
According to a crash report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety (DPS), a Freightliner semi-truck was traveling north on Highway 71 while a second vehicle, a Nissan Maxima, was traveling south.
The second vehicle traveled over the center line and collided with the front of the semi, according to the report. The truck departed the roadway and came to a final rest facing northeast to the right of the highway.
The second vehicle began to spin and came to final rest in the middle of the roadway, the report said.
The minor is listed as the driver of the second vehicle. Their age is not disclosed in the report. Weather conditions are listed as clear and dry.
