FBI offers $30k reward for Madison County man reported missing two years ago

According to the FBI, Jason Lierl, 43, was last seen between the area of Capps Ranches Road in Benton County and County Road 1101 in Madison County.

MADISON COUNTY, Ark. — The FBI is offering a reward for a Madison County man who has now been missing for over two years.

According to a missing person poster from the FBI, Jason Lierl, 43, was last seen between the area of Capps Ranches Road in Benton County and County Road 1101 in Madison County around Jan. 25, 2022.

The poster describes Lierl as a white American male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5'6" and weighs around 160 pounds.

Additionally, Lierl has a tattoo of the words "Cross 1-11-12" on his right arm and a tattoo of an Iron Cross on the side of his right bicep.

The FBI says that some of Lierl's belongings were recovered in Fayetteville, Benton County, Madison County, and Eagle Rock Missouri after his disappearance. 

5NEWS reached out to the FBI Little Rock office asking if Lierl is believed to be alive when the reward was first offered and if foul play is suspected in his disappearance. A spokesperson for the FBI replied with the following:

Since September of 2022, the FBI has offered a $30,000 reward for information leading to the location and recovery of Jason Lierl. Out of respect for that ongoing investigation, we will continue to refrain from commenting on its substance.
