VAN BUREN, Ark. — Update: The Van Buren Police Department (VBPD) confirmed the teen was found safely on July 3.
On July 2, VBPD said they were "urgently" searching for a missing "runaway" 16-year-old girl.
Police say she was last seen on foot near Main Street on June 28.
