New broadband map allows Arkansans to test their internet speed, report errors

Residents can now access the website to test their internet speed and make a report if it has been mislabeled on the map.

ARKANSAS, USA — A new broadband map is helping Arkansans report whether their area needs internet access, through a "challenge process".

Residents can now access the website to test their internet speed and make a report if it has been mislabeled on the map.

Benton County is asking residents to check their internet speed on the map and call them if you see an error. Benton County said they would help report the error since the county is "a registered challenger, with the Arkansas State Broadband Office."

The challenger process started March 20 and will be opened for 30 days. If you are a Benton County resident who wishes to report an error over the phone, you may contact them at 479-268-9651.
