SCOTT COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — One person was killed and another injured after a crash in rural Scott County on Sept. 6.
According to a crash report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, a vehicle was traveling west on State Highway 248 when it ran off the road and struck a tree.
The report said that Linda Hamm, 62, of Waldron, was driving the vehicle and died in the crash.
A 21-year-old from Waldron, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was injured in the crash, according to the report.
The report said that conditions were clear at the time of the crash, and that Arkansas State Police investigated.
