One person killed in Crawford County crash

The report says that Weber was traveling south on I-49 when he left the roadway and struck multiple trees before coming to a stop.

ALMA, Ark. — One person was killed after departing I-49 and striking multiple trees in Crawford County.

According to a crash report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 10:55 p.m. on Aug. 30 in Alma.

Drew Weber, 39, of Westville, Oklahoma, was killed in the crash.

The report says that Weber was traveling south on I-49 when he left the roadway and struck multiple trees before coming to a stop.

Weber sustained fatal injuries as result of the crash, the report said. Conditions were clear and dry.
