ARKANSAS, USA — Thunderstorms rolling into Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley on Sunday night briefly knocked power out for some residents.
Companies with Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, including Carroll Electric, Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative, and Ozarks Electric Cooperative reported outages across the state.
The bulk of the outages were in Benton County but a few hundred were also without power in Crawford County.
At 9:30 p.m., Carroll Electric was reporting that 2,034 Benton County customers were without power. By 10:30 p.m., outages were down to 65.
Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative Corp. reported 435 customers were without power at 9:30 p.m. That number was down to two by 10:30 p.m.
