The Arkansas Music Pavilion will stay in its current location for at least one more year, but could end up moving out of Fayetteville.
The Walton Arts Center music venue has two shows left in its season before officials turn their attention to finding a more permanent home for the Arkansas Music Pavilion, said Beth Goodwin, a spokesperson for the Walton Arts Center.
The venue will stay at the Washington County Fairgrounds for at least one more season. Goodwin said officials want the Arkansas Music Pavilion’s permanent home to be near the interstate and a business district, if possible.
She also said the music pavilion’s next home may not be in Fayetteville, as the organization has fielded calls from several mayors interested in hosting the venue.
